These camps are designed for racers to get quality training during the summer. Mt. Hood has been selected as the site of camp because of its dependable snow and efficient operation. Racers will be housed at Summit Meadows Lodge outside the town of Government Camp, in a beautiful wooded setting with an incredible view of Mt. Hood. Accommodations are in private cabins in a picturesque location with home-cooked meals.
Daily schedule:
6 a.m. Wake up/breakfast
7 a.m. – 1 p.m. On-Snow training
1:30 p.m. Lunch and rest hour
3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Arrange Equipment Demos
4:30 – 6 p.m. Dryland training or recreational activity
6:30 p.m. Supper
7 – 8:30 p.m. Video session, discussion
9 p.m. Lights out
